BLACK ADAM MOVIE REVIEW

Black Adam introduces a powerful anti-hero to the DCEU. Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson was been fan casted for this role of Black Adam back in 2006.This movie also introduce us with a team called Justice Society of America consisting of Pierce Brosnan as Doctor Fate, Aldis Hodge as Hawkman, Noah Centienno as Atom Smasher and Quintessa Swindell as Cyclone.

Black Adam is Action Oriented rather than focusing more on its story. Being said the action will not disappoint you. Movie does get brutal and pushes the boundaries of being PG-13, in fact Black Adam was going to be R rated and to make it PG-13 makers had to cut a lot of scenes from the movie. Justice Society of America's characters are new to all audience on the big screen movie successfully introduce each character of the Justice Society of America and gives them their own different powers and perspective.

The Rock performed really well but a lot of people found it repetitive. Be it The Mummy Returns, Welcome to the Jungle, Hobbs and Shaw or Fast and the Furious in every movies you can observe his performance is similar. There are some flaws regarding the character of Doctor Fate. In the comics Doctor Fate is a very powerful character but to glorify Black Adam the makers compromised the character of Doctor Fate.

Let's discuss some positives and negatives

Positives 

• Movies is action packed which will not bore by providing any slow narration of flashback. BeinDue to bg a superhero movie Black Adam serves excellent in terms of action
• Characters of Justice Society of America might be new to you but there is some sort of connection that is formed with you.
• Background score is excellent.
• Top Notch VFX, VFX used feels natural.

Negatives

• Being packed with action movie suffers in terms of storyline.
• Depth in the character of Black Adam was missing. He talks less, at times tries to be funny.

Verdict

Black Adam isn't a perfect movie it has its ups and downs but it does not fails to entertain.
